Florence hails from Manyangwa, Wakiso District born on 11^th April 1979 to Nalongo Kigongo Proscoviaand the late Salongo Ssentongo Hannington. Being the eldest in the family of 7, this has exposed her to various communities thus learning several languages that include Luganda, Swahiri, Lusoga, Congolese and English.

She a mother to three children, a business lady, a co-founder of the Actors Guild and having started acting in 2015, she has featured in over 40 films that include but not limited to:
